ACRYLIC

Clear Acrylic Sheet was first developed in the 1930s and is one of the most commonly used and versatile plastic sheeting materials in the world today.

Acrylic Sheets are strong, lightweight, glass-like plastic with excellent outdoor weather resistance and optical clarity.

POLYETHYLENE

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Sheet and Rod products are manufactured from the semi-crystalline polyethene (PE) family. Polystone UHMWPE Sheet has a minimal molecular weight of 9 million, which has a positive impact on material performance in an abrasive environment. Polystone UHMWPE Sheet is available in different grades of material depending on the application requirements.

PETP

PETP is a proprietary product manufactured from proprietary resin grades. PETP properties allow mechanical and electrical characteristics to remain virtually unaffected by moisture making this material ideally suited as a bronze bush replacement.

PETP properties make it especially suitable for the manufacture of precision mechanical parts capable of sustaining high loads in challenging wear conditions. PETP machining has never been easier.

POLYURETHANE

Polyurethane Elastomers are extremely versatile materials and this has been the key to their widespread applications. This flexible engineering material is available in Polyurethane Sheet, Rod and Custom Cast Products. Polyurethane has a unique design and construction combining many of the advantages of rigid plastics, metals and ceramics with the extensibility of rubber. This material is utilized in various industries including forestry and defence.

ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANEL

Aluminium Composite Panels are composed of nontoxic low-density polyethene core between two sheets of high strength aluminium alloy. Because of its superior performance in rub-resistance, acid-resistance and alkali-resistance, it is widely used as modern building cladding and for interior design.

ACETAL

Acetal's great machinability together with its dimensional stability, mechanical strength, zero moisture absorption and good load-bearing properties make it ideal for close-tolerance parts.

Acetal is an engineering thermoplastic used in the machining and creating of high precision, high-performance engineering components that require a high degree of stiffness, low friction, low moisture absorption and excellent dimensional stability.

PTFE

PTFE Sheet, PTFE Rods, PTFE Cylinders and PTFE Tube is resistant to practically every chemical known to man and has a surface as slippery as ice on ice to which no substance will adhere. PTFE will operate continuously at 260°C in harsh conditions for long periods. It will not degrade when exposed to long term sunlight.

Alloys and Fillers – As the need for more demanding uses emerge, PTFE can be customised by the addition of fillers to create PTFE compounds with enhanced physical properties to suit particular mechanical applications outside the scope of virgin PTFE.

POLYCARBONATE

Polycarbonate Sheets, Polycarbonate Rod and Polycarbonate Tube is a premium quality ‘see-through’ polycarbonate material typically used in the fabrication of guarding in safety guarding, sight glass high impact applications.

The properties of Polycarbonate Sheets, Polycarbonate Rod and Polycarbonate Tube make it tough, easy to handle, easily fabricated and formed, and easy to machine into parts or panels.

NYLON

These Polyamides, commonly referred to as nylon and available in Nylon Sheets, Nylon Rod and Nylon Tube and are distinguished by different types. The most common engineering nylons are PA6 and PA66. Nylon stock shapes are produced by either extrusion or casting. The process is in part a determinant of the nylon properties of the end product. Modifiers are added to enhance desirable characteristics.

PTFE COATED FABRICS

PTFE or Silicone is coated onto high quality fabric substrates to produce flexible composites. The resulting surface provides the benefits of PTFE or silicone enhanced by the dimensional stability of the woven fabric.

CONVEYOR COMPONENTS

Low noise level, low coefficient of friction and low horsepower requirements are the advantages of these chains. They provide an excellent flat surface and medium working load in a dry-running environment. Applications for the food and beverage industry include conveying lines for PET bottles and aluminium or steel cans. Lines packaging PET bottle packs in heat shrink film, paper board boxes, or cans in heat shrink film, can also be fitted with these chains. Pharmaceutical industry applications include all general-purpose conveying.

POLYPROPYLENE

The non-polar structure of Polypropylene Sheet and Rod gives it a very high molecular mass. This makes PP Sheet and Rod highly resistant to chemicals and to aqueous solutions of salts, acids and alkalis.

Polypropylene homopolymers have a high level of stiffness and toughness at room temperature. This together with their capacity to repel water makes them a good choice for mechanical and structural applications.

Polypropylene Sheet properties ensure that this material is a hard, stiff, easily workable material with excellent toughness and available in Polypropylene Sheet, Rod, Tube and Polypropylene Weld Rod.

It is an easily weldable thermoplastic which makes it ideal for tanks, fittings and vessels for the mineral processing, mining and galvanising industries.

UNIBOARD

Uniboard is a recycled plastic flat sheet marine ply alternative panel construction industry. Uniboard combines the advantages of plastics and timber: low weight, easy to handle and water-resistant. Uniboard is ideally suited in applications of moisture where traditional timber materials such as plywood, marine plywood and marine ply are susceptible to rot.

Uniboard marine ply replacement materials low weight, very low moisture absorption, high mechanical strength, chemical resistance and machinability allow this product to be used across a wide range of timber replacement applications including for acoustic sheet.
